Hello....I'm a 26/F American student studying in Southern Germany. I'm looking for a travel buddy to check out northern Norway and/or Iceland next month. My goals are to check out the North and Norwegian Sea (whaling watching and such, some trekking and hot springs!...outdoors fanatic!) I know its last minute but we can get some kicked ass deals through Ryan Air. Please let me know if anyone is interested or if anyone has some helpful tips. Thanks!

Just a tip: When in Norway, take the train from Oslo to Bergen. It's the most scenic train ride you'll ever see.
Also, consider doing this tour 'Norway in a nutshell'.

This way, you end up meeting other people, and get to see most of Norway's attractions.

Have been told it is possible to travel backpacking style to America and opthr areas on plane like the Ryan Air scheme which serves Europe. Is this true and who are they? Its like a website thta has fares last minute offers for extremely cheap rates like 5 doolars a time. I belive ther is such a site but any ideas where please ? I was told booking.com was like this but the prices are still too high for me. Thansk J

I am traveling to Europe this June-July flying in and out of Madrid. The last leg of my trip will be in Krakow and I am considering flying back to Madrid (via Milan-Bergamo Airport) the day before I fly back to the US.

My question is, how reliable is Ryan Air? I have heard horror stories about flights cancelled at the last minute, leaving hours earlier/later than scheduled, etc.

Anyone ever traveled with Ryan Air? Or moreso on the same route I'm taking? What is this airline like?

I have flown with RyanAir from London Stansted to Brno and vice versa and did really not have any problems. I've only had a delay, it was arriving to Brno later than on time but we still all got on. It's like the seats are first serve, first basis once boarding the plane.

Experience it to actually speak the truth instead of hearing because anyone can make up stories about flights they never even take, the same for any airline in that matter.
