my girlfriend and i had the urge to go on a vacation this weekend. im hoping that because of the current economic situation there are some good deals to be had. ideally it would be something all-inclusive. im just not sure what site to use as i cant seem to do all-inclusive searches on most of the major travel sites.

there are no all inclusives in the US, you have to go to the caribbean. there are some great deals right now, check out sandals in montego bay, jamaica.

it's amazing there, so beautiful and everything is included not just food but also snorkeling, golf, etc

Someone once told me that you can just show up to the airport with your bag packed and book a last minute vacation package going anywhere and leave the same day as you booked. (Note: I would be leaving from Pearson International -- Toronto)

Is this possible? I have talked to some people who say it isn't. I just thought it would be a cheap and exciting way to go somewhere literally last minute.

Do airports even offer this service? And if so, does it work out to be cheaper? Or is booking last minute cheapest a few days in advance?

Airports are generally not in the business of acting as travel agents. If you want to book a vacation package, you can either do it yourself or else take advantage of travel agencies.

I am looking to travel around valentine's day, and want to go somewhere cheap for a long weekend. I am leaving from Chicago.
